Accident averted at Mumbai airport

A potential accident was averted at the Mumbai airport yesterday morning, after a plane and a helicopter were cleared for take off and landing at the same time, according to a Times of India report.
An Indian Airlines flight is understood to have been already rolling on the runway when the pilot saw the helicopter approaching and aborted take-off.
Indian Airlines spokesperson was reported confirming the incident, saying; “All the 148 passengers on board the IA flight are safe.”
