Pullman, an upscale brand of the Accor Group, has opened in the historic city of Lijiang, in China’s southwestern Yunnan province.
Consisting of 79 villas and 51 deluxe rooms, Pullman Lijiang Resort & Spa is the brand’s fourth resort in the country, following two in Sanya and one in Zhangjiajie.
“We are very excited to bring the Pullman brand to Yunnan, one of China’s most attractive destinations for tourists due to its breathtaking natural scenery, mild climate and rich ethnic cultures,” said Robert Murray, Senior Vice President, Accor Greater China. “It is also our great honor to join forces with Kunming Construction Company, a highly reputable real estate developer in the province, to deliver a truly comfortable, authentic Lijiang experience to guests from both home and abroad.”
With views of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, the new resort is located adjacent to Shuhe Ancient Town and just minutes away from downtown Lijiang as well as Dayan Ancient Town – a UNESCO world heritage site. Villas range from 106 to 232 square metres, with private courtyard gardens and deluxe units featuring outdoor heated tubs.
The resort offers five restaurants and bars, as well as five meeting rooms and a 333-square-metre ballroom. Other facilities include the Mandara Spa, a 24-hour fitness centre.
