29 October 2009: Accor Hotels has launched a new dedicated website for its rapidly growing apartment hotel network in Australia and New Zealand.
The new www.grandmercurepartments.com.au website covers 17 apartment hotel properties in Australia and New Zealand, from Accor’s dedicated Grand Mercure Apartments brand.
The new website provides greater functionality for handling apartment-style product as well as detailed information of facilities and features available. The website’s features include downloadable hotel fact sheets, google maps for driving holiday enthusiasts, detailed apartment floor plans, an extensive image gallery and tailored search options.
“The visual aspect is an important component of selling apartments to our guests who want to see as much detail about the property as possible prior to booking,” says Accor’s Director of Marketing, Alison Rodgers.
“Whilst bookings will link through to the accorhotels.com website booking engine, the www.grandmercureapartments.com.au portal provides detailed information that relates specifically to apartment hotels. This market is growing strongly, so the new website will be of great benefit to our customers.”
The newly developed site supports the strategic direction for Grand Mercure Apartments and the focus on long stay, destination-driven accommodation options. In keeping with this, a special “Stay Longer Pay Less” bonus is on offer to launch the website. Guests can enjoy a 10% discount off the best rate of the day on a 3 or 4 night stay, 20% discount for 5 or 6 night stays or a huge 30% discount for stays of 7 nights or more.
Grand Mercure Apartments provide all the comforts of home such as kitchens and laundry facilities, separate dining areas and often leisure facilities including pools and gyms.
There are 17 Grand Mercure Apartment properties in Australia and New Zealand including prime city and resort locations such as Queensland’s Sunshine Coast and Palm Cove, NSW’s Hunter Valley and Darling Harbour, Melbourne Docklands and Creswick in Victoria’s spa region, Western Australia’s Busselton, and Wellington City and Nelson in New Zealand.
