The agreement has initially seen Accor roll out RateGain’s rate shopping tool, PriceGain, to all its managed and owned hotels in Germany.
Bhanu Chopra, founder & CEO, RateGain said the deal marked a “great opportunity to work with one of the world’s leading hotel groups”.
“With this partnership, Accor hotels will be able to get much more value out of their investment into a revenue management system and have access to the fresh and accurate data available,” he said.
PriceGain compares hotel rates from thousands of online sources, enabling hoteliers to more accurately work out their own pricing. It can also track rates up to a year in advance.
“Accor understands that a smart rate shopping tool is fundamental to a hotel’s success. We chose… PriceGain for its easy-to-use, real time data, unparalleled and powerful rate intelligence capabilities and the best in class support structure,” said Christine Leitner-Gräwert, Accor’s vice president of pricing & revenue management for Central Europe.
