Accor to increase Vietnam portfolio

Accor has announced plans to expand its presence in Vietnam, with the aim of doubling its inventory in the country by 2012. According to the Vietnam National Tourism Administration (VNAT), the Pullman Vung Tau will mark the upscale Pullman brand’s debut in the country, while Hotel De L’Opera Hanoi will become the MGallery collection’s second Vietnam property. The fourth Mercure hotel, Mercure Hado Hanoi, is by scheduled to receive guests by the end of this year. On 1 April, the 131-room Le Belhamy Hoi An Resort and Spa, will open in Hoi An. Novotel Imperial Hoi An, Novotel Resort Phu Quoc and Novotel Saigon Centre are also in the planning.
