In an effort to raise awareness about careers within the aviation industry, Abu Dhabi Airports (ADA) will welcome 100 UAE National students this year for its summer training programme.
Students from various schools, colleges and universities in the UAE will participate in the comprehensive training program which begins later this month. The summer training programme aims at promoting awareness amongst Emirati youth about aviation, supporting growing need for human capital within the industry to develop future aviation professionals.
HE Ali Majed Al Mansoori, chairman of Abu Dhabi Airports, said: “Abu Dhabi Airports strives to educate and encourage students, as part of its corporate and social responsibility to give back to the community. The summer training programme aims at integrating younger generation into a key part of developing the nation’s infrastructure.”
A wide range of programmes will be run by experienced staff members from a range of departments including customer service, cargo, planning and development, and marketing to name a few.
