Adagio Abu Dhabi posts positive growth

The aparthotel Adagio Abu Dhabi Al Bustan which opened in July 2014 witnessed a positive occupancy of 78% so far in 2015.
The hotel boasts 279 apartments comprising of 70 studios, 116 one-bedroom, 52 two-bedroom and 41 three-bedroom.
“The hospitality market mix in the Middle East has changed markedly during the past four years, with a number of long-stay hotels or aparthotels emerging in many markets, including the UAE,” said Dominique Mercier, general manager at Adagio Abu Dhabi Al Bustan.
As per statistics, with 40% of guests staying for one to three months, 16% stayed for three to six months, and a staggering 30% stayed for longer than six months. In terms of guest demographics, France leads the way with 20%, followed by USA with 15% and the UAE with 11%.
“Abu Dhabi is witnessing a boom as a business destination and there has been a noticeable trend leaning towards longer stays,” said Mercier.
