ADIA welcomes CNN Traveller Café

Abu Dhabi International Airport recently welcomed the world’s first airport café from CNN in partnership with SSP. The café is situated in Terminal 3.
The inaugural ceremony was attended by HE Mohammed Mubarak Al Mazrouei, board member of Abu Dhabi Airports; Rani R Raad, chief commercial officer at CNN International; and Nick Inkster, CEO SSP WEMEAP.
The CNN Traveller café will provide visitors a comprehensive CNN experience including: CNN International broadcast across a number of screens, with integrated audio system for each table. Items on the menu include local specialties such as fatoush or taboule salad as well as a selection of open sandwiches, breakfast and all-day sandwiches and wraps.
In the first 10 months of 2014, Abu Dhabi International Airport welcomed 16.5 million passengers, 8.5 m of which were through Terminal 3, and registered 20.5% increase in passenger movements compared to the same period in 2013.
