PRIVATE Pakistani carrier Aero Asia International Airlines has been suspended from operations for failing to meet safety standards.
The airline, which operated on at least three domestic and three international routes, was banned from flying by the CAA (Civil Aviation Authority) on Wed with immediate effect.
MD Haider Jalal said the airline was now in search of newer aircraft and better technology. Aero Asia will only be allowed to resume operations once the required safety standards have been met.
