Aeromexico reports 8.7% rise in demand

Mexican carrier Aeromexico saw its demand rise 8.7% year-on-year in August, its most significant rise since February 2012.
Passenger numbers also increased 7.5% year-on-year, reaching 1,389,000 passengers during August. The carrier’s available seat kilometres went up 3.3% and August load factor was 79.4% year-on-year.
Aeromexico embarked a serious fleet expansion in 2012, purchasing 100 Boeing aircraft, including 10 Dreamliners.
