Two UK travel agents will receive delayed commission from Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) after a High Court case went in their favour.
The court ruled the airline should pay Walthamstow-based Riaz Hussain Syed and Anwar Malik GBP400,000 in compensation for tickets they have sold since 2010.
According to the BBC, a row started with the airline after it told travel agents to charge customers extra to get commission.
Syed is also chairman of the Association of Pakistan Travel Agents (APTA) and said many other agents wanted to go to court but found it too expensive.
Eleven members of APTA have already settled their cases with PIA outside of the courts, with Syed planning to go back to the Royal Courts of Justice to settle other payments.
