Japan’s Agora Hospitality International has opened a new hotel in Osaka.
The Agora Osaka Moriguchi is a 175-room property in the Moriguchi district of the city, and has been rebranded as an Agora following its previous incarnation as the Moriguchi Royal Pines Hotel.
“Its predecessor, which opened in 1985, enjoyed time with many customers over the years in its capacity as a local community hotel. Its concept reflects the desire to continue being a place that offers local customers an opportunity to gather with family, friends, and colleagues,” commented the hotel’s GM, Masato Shigetomi.
The hotel features six F&B outlets, including Japanese, Chinese and French restaurants, plus a rooftop venue with views across the city. Agora said the hotel’s target market would be “business travellers and corporate guests in their 30s and 40s”.
Hotel Agora Osama Moriguchi will also be sold and marketed by Hong Kong-based Kosmopolito Hotels International, under its Hotel Alliance arrangement with Agora.
