Air Arabia looks to recruit more UAE nationals

UAE low-cost airline Air Arabia and its affiliate, Sharjah Aviation Services, are taking part in this year’s Careers UAE 2011 show in a bid to attract more UAE nationals as employees.Open exclusively for UAE nationals and HR practitioners, Careers UAE 2011 commences today at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre (DICEC). Visitors will be able to speak directly with representatives from Air Arabia at stand number SAF-1.Air Arabia remains committed to recruiting local talent in the UAE. Already, a strong proportion of the airline’s management staff, pilots and technical teams are UAE nationals. Careers UAE 2011 provides UAE nationals and HR professionals with a unique venue in which to network and discover life-changing opportunities. The three-day event will host 110 exhibitors spread across a record 12 sectors and industries including: government and semi-government; finance; education and recruitment; trade and commerce; oil and gas; transportation; telecoms; ministries; training and HR. Due to increased labour market demand, this year for the first time ever, IT and hospitality sectors have been introduced.
