Air Astana adds China connections
Air Astana will launch two new routes to China this summer. From 1 July, Kazakhstan’s national carrier will launch a new twice weekly service between Astana and Beijing, operated using a Boeing 757 aircraft.
These will complement the airline’s existing five weekly services between Beijing and Almaty.
Then from 6 July, Air Astana will launch its first services to Hong Kong. The route from Almaty will be served three times a week using either a B757 or B767 aircraft.
The airline is also planning to launch services to Azerbaijan’s capital Baku, the Russian cities of Omsk and St Petersburg, Uzbekistan’s capital Tashkent and Tbilisi, Georgia, over the next few months.
