Air Berlin to launch flights to Dubai

Air Berlin has revealed plans to fly to Dubai - one of three new long-haul routes the German carrier will roll out from its hub at Berlin’s Tegel Airport.The service will run three times weekly from the winter timetable onwards, along with services to Miami and Mombasa, while a further weekly flight to Phuket in Thailand is also being added to the airline’s schedule. An additional Airbus A 330-200 will be stationed in Berlin to operate these new flights.”The service to Dubai is Air Berlin’s first regular non-stop flight from Germany to the Middle East,” said Air Berlin CEO Joachim Hunold.”By operating these flights, Air Berlin is offering an attractive product to business travellers as well as to holidaymakers.”One-way prices to Dubai will start from as little at 199 Euro including taxes and charges.These flights are already available for booking.From Berlin, passengers can take convenient flights to a number of destinations including those within Germany, as well as Russia, Scandinavia, Zurich and Vienna.
