Air China looks to Europe

The company saidthat due to a new National Plan for Leisure and the depreciation in the valueof the Euro, Europe is becoming anincreasingly attractive destination for Chinese tourists.
Fromthe start of its summer schedules on 29 March, Air Chinalaunched a direct flight between Beijing and Moscow, departing the Chinesecapital every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. The carrier also resumed its Beijing to Madrid services,which connects on to Sao Paulo from Madrid. Furthermore, AirChina has increased thenumber of flights between Beijing and Paris from six to ten everyweek.
InAsia, Air China added anextra flight on the Beijing to Jakarta,via Xiamen,route. It has also increased its number of flights from Chengdu, SichuanProvince. Two additional flights were added to the Chengdu-Kathmandu route, whilethe previous Beijing- Karachi service has been altered to fly via Chengdu, rather than Urumqi.A new route has also been launched connecting Chengduwith Seoul, via Hefei, three times a week.
Finallyin the domestic market, Air Chinahas added one extra daily flight to routes from Beijingto Hefei, Guilin,Lanzhou, Ningbo, Nanjing, Qingdao, Xiamen and Yantai.
