Air China to launch Beijing-Lhasa flights

Air China has said it will launch the country’s first direct flight between Beijing and Lhasa, the capital of Tibet, Xinhua has reported. Starting on 10 July, daily flights will depart Beijing’s Capital International Airport at 07.00, arriving into Lhasa Gonggar Airport at 10.50Air China will operate the route using its Airbus A330 aircraft.
