Air France has started offering its new long-haul cabin products on flights to and from Beijing.
The new cabins were introduced this month on the Boeing 777 aircraft Air France uses for the Paris-Beijing route. The new products include the airline’s “cocoon” seats in business class, which recline to form fully-flat beds, and brand new premium economy and economy class seats.
These three cabin classes are already available on flights to Guangzhou and Shanghai, but for the first time in China, the Beijing-bound aircraft will also feature Air France’s new La Première cabin products. These first class seats have thick curtains, held back with leather tiebacks, to ensure passenger privacy, plus a two-metre-long fully-flat bed and 24-inch (61cm) HD touchscreen in-flight entertainment monitor.
Air France has been gradually rolling out its new long-haul cabins in recent months, to destinations including Los Angeles, New York, Washington DC, Sao Paulo, Dubai, Guangzhou, Shanghai, Jakarta, Singapore and Tokyo.
This winter, Air France will offer 10 weekly Paris-Beijing flights.
