Air France launches KL flights
Air France has launched a new direct service between Paris and Kuala Lumpur.
The new night flight will be operated three times a week using a Boeing 777-200 aircraft equipped with 246 seats across four cabins – four in first class, 48 in business, 24 in premium economy and 170 in economy.
“The strong economic ties between Malaysia and France, the high growth rate in this region of the world as well as its tourist attraction make Kuala Lumpur a choice destination for increasing Air France and KLM’s presence in Southeast Asia,” said Air France’s chairman & CEO, Alexandre de Juniac. “Customers wishing to travel to Indonesia on departure from Europe will also benefit from numerous connecting opportunities via Jakarta with KLM.”
The new Air France service will now depart Paris Charles de Gaulle airport at 1940 on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays, arriving at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) at 1350 the following day. The return service will leave KLIA at 1115 on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays, arriving back into the French capital at 0610 the following morning.
KL becomes Air France’s fifth destination in Southeast Asia, following Singapore, Bangkok, Phnom Penh and Ho Chi Minh City.
