“Our load factors oscillate between 82 and 92 % in winter and summer seasons. The traffic between B a n g a l o r e , where services started in December 2005, and Chennai (opened in October 2006) have already reached the Mumbai levels,” Air France Executive Vice President Bruno Matheu was quoted saying by PTI.
He said AF experienced the highest traffic on the Delhi- Paris route. “We plan to increase our flights to Bangalore and Chennai to dailies soon.” He, however, did not give a specific timeframe about increasing frequencies to these Indian cities, the newspaper said.
On the new Indian destinations, Matheu said while demand to these two have been high, launching services would depend on the bilateral air traffic agreement between France and India.
