Air New Zealand has started its tour of UK travel agencies to promote its new products and services. The airline’s regional sales, marketing and pricing teams, as well as cabin crew and ‘Kev the Kiwi’ will be visiting 480 travel agent branches to update them on New Zealand since the earthquake and Air NZ’s new B777-300. “While the impact of the earthquake in Christchurch has been huge, the rest of New Zealand is very much open for business,” said Chris Myers, general manager UK and Europe at Air New Zealand. “It’s also a very exciting time with the launch of our new aircraft in the first week of April so there’s a lot to share with our trade partners to help them really get in behind and sell Air New Zealand and our destinations”. Agents will receive a goody bag with the chance to win a range of prizes including an iPad 2 and flights to Los Angeles. For more information visit www.airnewzealandtrade.com/sweetas.
