Chief Executive Officer Rob Fyfe said that the last year had seen a significant amount of change across Air New Zealand,
with the airline well positioned to take advantage of strong growth in many of its key markets, adapt to new competitors and changing customer expectations. “Air New Zealand needs to keep ahead of the game. The new role of Deputy CEO has been created to ensure we maintain our momentum and build on the uniquely Kiwi experiences that we deliver to our customers.” Fyfe said.
Thompson will take up his new role as Deputy CEO once his successor has been appointed.
