Business travellers and tourists who want to spend their last day in Boston without hauling their luggage around now have the services of an Air Valet. The Boston Globe said Penfield’s, a company that runs security and amenities for hotels, plans to launch the programme in November.
Guests check their bags in with a designated person at the hotel at least three hours before the flight. The hotel trucks the luggage to the airport and guests pick it up at their destination.
The company intends to make the service available at Sheraton Boston, Westin Copley Place, Westin Boston Waterfront, the InterContinental, and the Liberty Hotel. Airline involved so far include Delta, Northwest, JetBlue, Continental, and American, the report said.
