AirAsia to benefit from LCCT relocation - analysts

AirAsia is expected to emerge as the main beneficiary from the move Kuala Lumpur’s new low-cost carrier terminal (LCCT) to Labu, Negri Sembilan, the Business Times reported analysts as predicting.
OSK Research analyst, Ng Sem Guan, said that the Malaysian low-cost carrier would potentially make large saving due to lower airport charges. Meanwhile Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd (MAHB) stands to lose the most, Ng added, estimating the move could cost the airport operator as much as MYR175 million (US$50.4 million) in revenue per year.
