AirAsia to start selling Branson charity flight tickets

AirAsia has announced that tickets will soon go on sale for a charity flight featuring Virgin boss Sir Richard Branson working as a flight attendant. The event has been delayed after Branson ruptured a ligament while skiing before the previous flight. It came about following a wager between Branson and AirAsia’s Group CEO, Dr Tony Fernandes, as to which of their Formula 1 teams would finish higher in the standings last season. When Fernandes’ Lotus team won, Branson agreed to take to the skies wearing AirAsia’s red female flight attendant uniform, serving drinks to Fernandes and 250 other guests on a special AirAsia X flight from London to Kuala Lumpur.
