AirAsia has launched its new mobile app, offering a series of new features.
The app, which is available for iOS and Android devices, is now available in 11 languages and allows users to check their flight status, obtain e-boarding passes and view hotel deals. There is also now an ‘Add to Calendar’ feature, which automatically links upcoming flights to a calendar.
These features complement the existing flight search and booking services, which AirAsia says have been made “faster and simpler”, while the mobile check-in feature has also been “improved”, according to the company.
“We are constantly investing in technology and innovation to make flying easier and more enjoyable for our guests. Our all-new mobile app offers our guests everything they need right at their fingertips. There has been over nine million downloads of the AirAsia mobile app on both iOS and Android platforms, and we hope that more people will discover the convenience of our new and improved mobile app,” said Siegtraund Teh, AirAsia’s group chief commercial officer.
The new AirAsia app is available in English, Bahasa Malaysian, Bahasa Indonesian, traditional and simplified Chinese, Thai, Korean, Japanese, Vietnamese and Arabic.
