AirAsia X increases frequency to Kathmandu

AirAsia X will increase flight frequency from Kuala Lumpur to Kathmandu this month to cater for surging demand.
The long haul low cost carrier will up frequency from seven times to 10 times weekly from 26 October until 31 December to meet the strong travel demand during the peak holiday period.
Commercial director of AirAsia X, Dato’ Bernard Francis, said: “The additional flight frequencies will offer our guests more flexibility in choosing their preferred flight times and date for their travel convenience. “We anticipated a strong demand for the route during the travel period as the weather is highly pleasant with clear views of breathtaking mountains.”
In addition to exiting daily services, flight D7 196 will depart Kuala Lumpur at 1735 on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Return flight D7 197 will depart Kathmandu at 2100.
