Travel firm AirFastTickets has unveiled a new website after developing its service and product offering.
The company, which has offices in Greece and New York, has developed new software to drive its future growth, which it hopes will see the online travel agent sit in the space “between technology and service”.
Currently the Athens-based call centre is open for 18 hours, which vice president Europe Ron Yeatman hopes to increase to 24 hours soon.
“Our technology is good but customers really need help or advice at times so we have a number they can contact,” Yeatman told Travel Daily. “The market for online bookings is becoming more mature and for us it is important that we cater for that. Websites have to have that face to face personality”.
He added that future additions to the website will continue to work on inspiring visitors and “know what the customer wants before they want it”.
AirFastTickets, alongside B2B brand Book! and Perseus Corporate Travel, is said to be seeing double digit growth and has been successful despite Greece’s financial problems.
