Airshow attracts over 120,000 visitors

The inaugural Singapore Airshow 2008, which ended over the weekend, saw some 120,000 visitors, including 30,000 trade delegates. The weekend, which was for consumers, featured aerobatic displays put up by the United States Air Force, the RAAF Roulettes, and Singapore’s RSAF
Black Knights. Besides the aerobatics displays, 60 of the newest commercial and military aircraft were also on display.
The Singapore Airshow is a biennial event with the next one scheduled for February 23 to 28, 2010.
A ChannelNews Asia report said about 70% of exhibitors have already confirmed
bookings for the 2010 show.
