The Association of Independent Tour Operators (AITO) has announced that Kyomi Wade has joined the organisation as its new Digital Marketing and PR Executive.
Kyomi has an English and Creative Writing degree from the University of Kent and is currently completing a CIM Diploma in Marketing. She has also developed her own travel website and blogs.
Kate Kenward, AITO’s executive director, said: “The AITO team is delighted to welcome Kyomi to its Twickenham office. She’s arrived at a very busy time – AITO is nearly halfway through its 40th anniversary year.
“Kyomi’s digital marketing expertise will be extremely valuable whilst we look to improve our digital presence.
“Kyomi will be responsible for raising awareness of the AITO brand, including digital marketing, media relations and social media. She will join Helen Cyster, Bharat Gadhoke, Pam Hersey, Jaime Rampling and me to make up our team of six.
“Kyomi’s previous role, in a specialist travel company which creates bespoke journeys for well-travelled and discerning individuals, means that Kyomi has experience in marketing a company that’s in a similar sector of the market to many AITO members; I’m sure that this will prove invaluable in her new AITO role.”
