AITO gears up for domestic conference

AITO Specialist Travel Agents is gearing up to host its domestic conference in Staffordshire this weekend.
Agents will have the option of choosing from a sales efficiency or social media workshop during the conference, which has the theme ‘The Power of Thank You’.
Winners of its All Stars Awards will be announced during the conference as well as national and regional winners of its All Stars incentive scheme.
“At the peak holiday booking time of year, our members join together for a weekend full of inspiration, learning and exchange of ideas, and leave charged up, excited and enthusiastic for a busy forthcoming year,” said Gemma Antrobus, chairman of AITO Agents.
She added: “Sales of All Stars Operators’ products (36 AITO operators in total) were up just over 13.8% in 2014 equating to a record £53.6m, which proves that once again consumer confidence in the independent travel sector has in no way lessened.”
