Al-Fanar Village opens at Ritz-Carlton Abu Dhabi Grand Canal

His Excellency Sheikh Sultan Bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, chairman of Abu Dhabi Tourism & Culture Authority (TCA Abu Dhabi) officially opened the AL-FANAR restaurant and café.
The restaurant brings Emirati flavours to the new Venetian Village at The Ritz Carlton Abu Dhabi Grand Canal. AL-FANAR, themed by its Hashem Al Marzouqi, offers a fine ambiance. The outlet offers barasti outdoor booths, mud brick rooms and a mini souk. The restaurant seats 320 for lunch and dinner.
Hashem Al Marzouqi, a mechanical engineer-turned heritage theme designer said: “Abu Dhabi was a natural progression for our AL-FANAR concept which began in Dubai. We have received a warm reception and are already looking at additional outlets in the emirate – with Al Ain now firmly in our sights.”
