Alila Hotels & Resorts will boost its portfolio in 2014.
The group has announced the addition of three new hotels in Oman, Indonesia and India. With the addition of Alila Jabal Akhdar in Oman due to open in March 2014, the group has marked its entry in the Middle East market. Following the opening of the Oman property, the group will open Alila Seminyak Bali and Alila Fort Bishangarh Jaipur, both scheduled to open in late 2014.
The Alila Fort Bishangarh is a heritage fortress that is being transformed in the Bishangarh Village in Jaipur. Positioned on a granite hill in the Aravalli mountain range, the all-suite resort will feature 59 suites, elegantly furnished with large bay windows, daybeds and large bathrooms with footed bathtubs.
Leisure facilities within the fort include an outpost of Spa Alila, two restaurants, an all-day coffee lounge, a bar and cigar room, wine cellar and library. The public areas will include a pool, pool terrace and juice bar, fitness centre and a ‘play soldiers club’ for children. Alila Fort Bishangarh will become the third Alila propery in India, joining the Alila Diwa Goa and Alila Bangalore.
These three properties form part of 21 new developments, seven of which are due to open in the next two years. Alila will continue to expand with new hotels and resort developments in key destinations, including Malaysia, China, India, Indonesia and Indochina.
