Alliance Global to expand hotel interests
Alliance Global has revealed plans to build 16 new hotels in the Manila Metro (pictured) area and elsewhere in the Philippines. A spokesman for the group told Malaya Business Insight that they plan to build 5,500 new hotel rooms at strategic location in the Philippine capital, Iloilo, Boracay and Tagaytay. Engineers, architects and design consultants are putting the final touches to the development plan, at which point they will have a clear picture of the total investment cost.
The group already owns and runs Travellers International Hotel Group, Resorts World Casino, Maxim Hotel in Manilla and tour operators. Seeing growth potential of the tourism industry in the country has sparked ambitions to expand its hotel business.
