Amadeus expands mobile travel service with conTgo

Amadeus has signed a deal to further distribute conTgo’s mobile services to travel management companies and corporations. The Amadeus Mobile Travel Assistant tool will allow information to be sent directly to the traveller’s phone including ground transportation and hotel details. It means that travelers can also be contacted during an emergency or crisis situation. “Corporations and TMCs require technology that considers duty of care to staff, corporate travel policy restrictions and cost saving objectives,” said Albert Pozo, director multinational business and corporate travel at Amadeus. “conTgo’s performance during disruption events such as the volcanic ash cloud crisis, the December snow chaos and the Queensland flooding is a strong sign of its bandwidth and capability to deliver superior service to our joint customers.”
