Amadeus has sealed a new long-term tie-up with Hong Kong-based travel company, Lotus Tours.
The new 10-year partnership will see the travel technology company provide Lotus with customised IT solutions and consultancy services. These will include a guided booking platform, which will eliminate the need for travel consultants to memorise flight booking commands, and a new checking system that aims to boost booking quality and allow travel consultants to issue point-to-point market and GDS fare tickets.
Additionally, a corporate self-booking website will also be built, allowing corporate customers to manage their own travel arrangements, create new profiles and view past data. Transaction history will also be kept in Amadeus’ newly-developed mid-back office solution – Amadeus Travel Office Manager.
