Global travel industry partner, Amadeus, has launched a new solution which will streamline airline ticket reissues for travel agents in New Zealand and the Pacific Islands, including Fiji, Tonga, Samoa and the Cook Islands.
Amadeus Ticket Changer, which is available free of charge to New Zealand and the Pacific Island agents until 31 December, automates the air ticket reissuing process, preventing errors and significantly reducing time spent on a ticket exchange to less than two minutes.
Fare, tax or penalty collection is automated and guaranteed for the 104 airlines that file their rules in CAT31, while additional collection is also calculated for all other carriers filing in CAT16.
The solution takes the strain out of changes to cabin, class, route or date, regardless of whether the ticket is unused, partially used or has been reissued previously.
Travel agents wanting to try Amadeus Ticket Changer are encouraged to visit the Amadeus e-Supportcentre or contact their local Amadeus Account Manager.
