American Express Global Business Travel (GBT) has announced the launch of Premier Insights, a data visualisation tool that provides companies and their travel managers with a complete view of their travel programme to drive greater efficiencies, improvements and savings.
The tool integrates American Express Corporate Cards and travel booking data into a single platform, providing companies and their travel managers with access to a comprehensive, single-source view of their entire travel programme.
Amex claims Premier Insights offers a simple way to consolidate and analyse travel data. Through its intuitive and easy-to-use interface, the tool offers clear and concise metrics to highlight and prioritise potential savings opportunities, enabling travel managers to take action and drive accountability across their companies.
“Intelligent travel programme management is only possible when companies and their travel managers understand how their employees consume travel and the financial impact of their usage,” said Christine Ourmières-Widener, chief global sales officer, American Express Global Business Travel. “We created Premier Insights to centralise everything that can impact the efficiency of a travel programme, allowing travel managers to spend less time pulling data and more time enhancing their travelers’ experiences. As a result, they can engage in smarter decision-making, drive programme efficiencies and achieve cost savings.”
“This new platform was developed as a departure from the manual ways travel managers used to access and pull data,” added Christophe Tcheng, VP, Core Products and Platform Architecture, American Express Global Business Travel. “As part of our larger technology investment, we built this solution from the ground up using big data and predictive analytics to reinvent how travel managers make decisions about their travel programme.”
