Dubai Parks & Resorts, the management firm responsible for Dubai’s upcoming mega theme park, has appointed AMG to manage its sales, marketing and PR activities in the UK and Ireland.
The company’s initial focus will be on securing exposure and ticket sales through key tour operator partners, and to garner pre-launch excitement for the £2bn multi-themed leisure and entertainment destination, which is scheduled to open in October. AMG will also pursue opportunities to develop business within the MICE markets.
Julien Munoz, VP Sales of Dubai Parks and Resorts said: “As one of Dubai’s top three global source markets, we are committed to forging strong links within the UK travel trade and felt that AMG was best placed to achieve this goal. We were very impressed with the company’s, industry contacts and overall value proposition that reflected our business vision. Through AMG we look forward to working with the UK and Irish trade to ensure the success of Dubai Parks and Resorts. We believe Dubai Parks & Resorts will add a novelty to the UK travel trade partners which will work as a catalyst in attracting more families and repeaters to Dubai as a destination.”
