Aston International has announced the launch of a new 3-star brand in Indonesia. The ‘Quest’ brand is said to be “uncomplicated and flexible, providing service from the heart, uncompromising standards of safety and cleanliness and good value for individual travelers on the go”.
Aston Internationals Head of Marketing, Norbert Vas, said; “As the result of the tremendous growth of Aston International, and the demand from developers wanting to develop smaller 3-star properties for us to manage, we have developed a new brand for 3-star properties in Indonesia. The Quest brand will be one of a number of new brands we will be introducing in the coming months to Indonesia.”
Vas added that the first Quest Hotel is set to open in Palembang in early 2009, with a second property in Semarang opening in the second quarter of 2009. Further Quest properties are said to be in their planning stages.
Originally from Hawaii, Aston entered the Indonesian market in the late nineties and has an underlying portfolio consisting of 40 properties including hotels, resorts, serviced apartments, suites and boutique villa resorts, of which 15 are operational and 25 under development due to open between now and 2010. Aston also plans to open its first property outside Indonesia, with the Aston Serviced Residences Kuala Lumpur due to open early next year.
