Cyprus-based Louis Cruises has announced plans to grow its UK passenger count.
The cruise line aims to carry at least 10,000 UK customers by 2018 and double this to more than 20,000 per year.
The cruise line said it aims to increase the numbers by renewing its relationships with the UK travel trade by attending events and hosting fam trips, as well as through consumer advertising.
“We want to educate and engage UK travel agents about our cruises. The three and four-night cruises can be combined with a land tour, thanks to our range of flexible embarkation and disembarkation points, or as a standalone seven-night cruise,” said sales director Pythagoras Nagos.
Louis recently announced a new brand Celestyal Cruises for the 2015 season and next year will offer seven-night itineraries from the port of Bari, Italy to 12 ports of call in the Ionian and Adriatic seas.
