The Valencia Region Tourist Board has created a new Inland Accommodation Club to regulate and promote the extensive offering of country cottages, apartments, small hotels and B&Bs available in the interior of the region under the umbrella brand “Temps” (meaning ‘time’ in Valencian).
Launching the new brand, Belen Juste, Tourism Minister for the Valencia Region, said:” The interior of the Region of Valencia has a whole range of special and unique accommodation options with true character and Mediterranean spirit that encapsulate the region’s identity, history and culture, enjoying privileged locations in natural settings.”
As part of the new initiative, the Tourism Minister also presented the first ever Temps guide, featuring 77 tourism businesses which have been admitted to the Inland Accommodation Club following a rigorous and comprehensive selection process.
The new guide features 36 country hotels and B&Bs and 41 companies offering self-catering cottages and apartments, with details of prices, capacity and facilities in each one, plus contact details for reservations. The guide can be downloaded from the Valencia Region Tourist Board website www.comunitatvalenciana.com.
The Region of Valencia, better known for its beach resorts and vibrant cities, offers an unspoilt interior countryside of fertile valleys, picturesque villages, deep ravines and mountains, ideal for the pursuit of outdoor sports or simply to enjoy nature and spot local wildlife.
