Taj Hotels Resorts & Palaces has opened a new luxury property in Bengaluru.
Located close to the city’s Kempegowda International Airport, Taj Bangalore offers 154 rooms and suites, plus a Jiva Spa that features a special menu of anti-jetlag treatments.
Other facilities include a fitness centre, a large central lobby area and more than 2,300m² of conference and banqueting space, including ballrooms and smaller function spaces. There are also landscaped gardens for outdoor events.
The new Taj also provides an extensive array of F&B options, including a 24-hour international restaurant with live cooking stations and both indoor and al fresco seating, the Start-Up bar, Tamarind Indian restaurant, and Soi & Sake, which combines Chinese and Japanese cuisine with a live Tepan grill and sushi bar. For private parties and group, there is also a wine-tasting room.
“Bangalore is the epicentre of India’s entrepreneurial wave and an emerging centre for international conclaves and conferences. As the city continues to grow and thrive, we are excited to add to the momentum by welcoming the newest Taj hotel to the city,” said Prabhat Verma, Taj’s senior vice president of operations for the south region.
The new hotel becomes Taj’s sixth property in Bengaluru, following the Taj West End, Vivanta by Taj MG Road, Vivanta by Taj Whitefield, Vivanta by Taj Yeshwantpur and the Gateway Hotel Residency Road.
