The deal, which was first agreed in January 2015, is valued at US$900 million at list prices, and marks ANA’s first ever order for the B787-10 – the largest version of the Dreamliner series.
“We truly appreciate ANA’s confidence in the 787 and this order further demonstrates our decades-long partnership with ANA,” said Boeing‘s president & CEO, Ray Conner.
“We are honoured to play such an important role in ANA’s continued success as they look to expand their fleet to include the entire family of 787 Dreamliners.”
Japan’s largest airline in terms of fleet size and passenger numbers, ANA has already ordered 80 Dreamliners, including 36 B787-8s and 44 B787-9s. So far, 34 of these aircraft have been delivered.
