ANA loss ‘smaller than expected’

All Nippon Airways (ANA) had a smaller-than-forecast loss last fiscal year after selling assets. According to a Bloomberg report, the airline posted a loss of JPY4.5 billion (US$47 million) for the year ending 31 March, compared with an original prediction of a JPY9 billion yen loss. Rob Henderson, announced the results in Tokyo yesterday, but declined to say what assets it had sold.
