A large temple at the Angkor complex in Cambodia has re-opened after decades of reconstruction work. The BBC reported that the project of renovating the dilapidated Baphuon temple, which began as far back as the 1960s, was interrupted during the periods of war and the brutal reign of the Khmer Rouge, before resuming in 1995. The 11th Century, three-tier tower contains an estimated 300,000 sandstone blocks.
