Anjum Hotel Makkah sets sight on the Turkish market

In an effort to cash in on the growing religious tourism segment, the Anjum Hotel Makkah recently showcased its pilgrim services in Istanbul. The Anjum project looks to add an additional 7,000 rooms to the industry in Makkah in the coming few years. This will be undertaken during the second and third phases of the Jabal Al Kaaba project.

The hotel offers its pilgrim services to all 1.743 rooms and suits. The hotel further caters for a wide variety of international and authentic cuisine across its two restaurants that can accommodate 3,500 guests.

“It is expected that 13 million Muslims will visit the Holy region to perform Hajj and Ummrah by 2019. Accordingly, the Jabal Al Kaaba project is expected to contribute in boosting tourism across the Kingdom,” said Youssef Jamel, chairman of Abdul Latif Jameel Real Estate Investment Company.

“The Turkish hajj and ummrah pilgrims are among the most important pilgrims to Anjum Hotel Makkah. Turkey is also one of our key markets,” said Ahmad Sabry, general manager of Anjum Hotel Makkah.

The hote works closely with key agents in Turkey which include Amadw Tourism, Berat Tourism, Bereket Tourism, Bestur Tourism and Elci Tours, Eman tours, Emin tourism, and Emir Tours & Travel as well as Ikram tourism, Nuanstur tourism, Nuri Dogan tourism, Server tourism, and Uzman tourism in addition to Vizyon and Wit tours.
