In an effort to cash in on the growing religious tourism segment, the Anjum Hotel Makkah recently showcased its pilgrim services in Istanbul. The Anjum project looks to add an additional 7,000 rooms to the industry in Makkah in the coming few years. This will be undertaken during the second and third phases of the Jabal Al Kaaba project.
The hotel offers its pilgrim services to all 1.743 rooms and suits. The hotel further caters for a wide variety of international and authentic cuisine across its two restaurants that can accommodate 3,500 guests.
“It is expected that 13 million Muslims will visit the Holy region to perform Hajj and Ummrah by 2019. Accordingly, the Jabal Al Kaaba project is expected to contribute in boosting tourism across the Kingdom,” said Youssef Jamel, chairman of Abdul Latif Jameel Real Estate Investment Company.
