The former Tower Bridge Magistrates Court and police station on London’s Tooley Street are to become a hotel.
Asset management firm Dominvs Group has acquired the site and will convert the Grade II-listed property into a luxury 150-200 room hotel.
It will be named Dominvs Tower Bridge and also include a restaurant and conference facilities.
The acquisition is the group’s eighth within a year which includes several Holiday Inn and Ascot branded hotels as well as a site at Aberdeen International Airport.
“After an intensive competitive bidding process, we are pleased to have secured The Tower Bridge site. This is a once a decade investment opportunity and its prime location parallel to the Thames River and access to central and South East London, aligns with our London acquisition strategy” says Preet Ahluwalia, director of Dominvs Group.
