Aqua Hotels & Resorts has announced that it will expand its portfolio with two new properties. The chain, which has 16 properties across Hawaii, plans to open the 312-room Queen Kapiolani Hotel in Waikiki and the Pagoda Hotel in Honolulu. “As a group, we’re growing and it’s great to start the year on the right foot,” said Bill Henderson, vice president of development at Aqua. “We’re extremely proud of our hotel portfolio; we have hotel offerings to suit all budgets and needs.” In addition, Aqua’s contract with Waikiki Beachside Hotel expired on 1 January. Reservations will not be effected.
